You must also have mobile web and picture messaging enabled on your phone.

Check with your phone manufacturer to see if your phone supports MP3 ringtones.

Instructions on Downloading the Ringtone To Your Verizon Phone

  1. For Ringtones, make sure your phone's volume is turned up

  2. Go to your messaging inbox

  3. Select the message that starts mmsc@... subject: Ringtone/ Wallpaper...

  4. Open the message. There will be some text. For Ringtones, the song should start playing. For Wallpapers, the image should be visible.

  5. Select the Options menu on your phone. For Ringtones, select "Save Sound." For Wallpapers, select "Save Picture."

  6. Accept the name (or enter your own), then assign your new item as a ringtone or wallpaper.

  7. Enjoy

Please be aware that these instructions work for most Verizon phones.
